Hi all very new to this 3d printing stuff
I cant seem to change the temperature of the bed on my ctc printer
I can change the temp settings to whatever I like but every time I print it only heats up to around 38c from what I have read I assume this is the temperature being written into the gcode.

I have seen people using a setting on their ctc duals to override the temperature that is apparently written into the gcode my printer doesn’t seem to have this option in the menu.

I am using the makerbot print software to export .x3g files then using the SD card to print
I have seen people changing the bed temp settings in makerbot print but once again I don’t seem to have this option.

I don’t know if I’m using a different version of the software or what the hell Im doing wrong here.

if anyone has any ideas on how I can remedy this problem I would greatly appreciate any help thanks.

Hello,

you have to check the box under Temperature settings in Makerware --> Heat the build plate, then you can set the required temperature.

where can I find this option these are the only settings options I am given in the makerware software
I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong here I cant find anything about the bed temperature

Which version of Makerware do you have, did you instaled the one on SD card which came with CTC printer?

When you click on “Make”, pop up from the picture should appear and that is where you can adjust parameters.

Ok, i see now, you downloaded the software from official site because MakerBot Print is Makerware updated version. Makerware software is the one you can install from SD card that came with the printer, but never the less I thinks the parameter adjustment should be there at “Make” step.

P.S is registration on official site of MakerBot free?
