Hi, i purchased a CTC replicator on the 1st of February
Then i got everything on and turned the switch on.
Just as i turned it on, i heard a pop and saw a green light and smokes.
Found out that the printer was on 110v and my house was on 220v.
So i undo all the screws in the power supply and looked for anything that was burnt.
I saw the fuse broken into pieces and soldered a new fuse which it came with the printer (F8AL 250W).
But it still didnt work.
I contacted the seller on Ebay and a 3d printer in my region.
Do you think that the power supply is blown up?
Any help, ill be glad
Thanks

Have you checked the mainboard for damage as well?
It’s not salvageable, too much damage to solid state components has probably been done, and anything that is still ok has probably been weakened. Best off to just replace it with a new one. You can use the 12v output of a computer power supply to get you buy until you get a better replacement.
