So had the printer running now for only 6 hours done 1 print a Nice Drone frame while i was out the house. Came back to it done. BUT! Now its trying to go back to the home position but starts making a weird shittie grinding sound  I found a Youtube video on it here: CTC Endstop Failure Home Axes Noise - YouTube : Basically does the same. Ive tried everything to fix it/ Contacted the buyer and didnt get anything back they are blocking all emails and phone calls. So want help with this since it was my present to my self and I had the XYZ junior and never had a problem.

Is it clicking fast when I reaches the home position? If so check the micro switches are working and lighting up when pressed. And make sure the carage is engaging the switch

Hey, Have you already tried to move them with the jog mode? Is it only the X or Y axis? Some modification done?

Swap out the cables on the steppers for X and Y axis and see if the problem changes. If it does then one of the cables is bad. It is common. Also you can switch out the limit switches to see if it changes then.

It could also be a stepper driver but not as common a s a cable going bad.

Tried moving on jog mode left and right but still grinding.

I remove and replaced the motors also changing them around still makes the sound of gringing.

It is most likely not the motors. The most common thing is a cable gone bad. Next would be the limit switch then the stepper driver on the main board. I think I read on one recently that it was actually the main board had gone bad.

just got told the suppliers got back to a friend so waiting on a update from them. The clicking isnt clicking its more of a grinding sound than clicking.
