Hi,

Before buying this printer I am wondering if the mechanical and electronics would fit cleanly on a Prusa I3 Frame. I think the original frame of this printer is made from wood and I would rather use aluminium… I’ve got a CAD dessign of the Prusa I3 Frame and wonder if it would fit without problems only changing the frame.

Also wondering if it can be somehow upgraded to give the 60 micra resolution of the PRusa I3… Not really needed right now but just in case I would start making some changes in the future.

Thanks

Why not buy a 3d printer diy kit with aluminium directly? that’s more simple.

Recommend this one for you. Yite ET-i3 DIY KIT.

It’s completely open-sourced. All the technical data, codes and drawings of machine structure are provided to customers.

I’m a 3d manufacturer, so if you gonna buy a 3d printer welcome to contact me.
