Hi, I’ve had my printer about 5 months now and have been having a few coms problems but hitting the off switch seem to solve most of them. The big problem now is the printer only thinks it has on head (the RH one) when you go into the on board screen the option to load the left or the right extruder has disappeared and the option to select the operating head on the Makerbot laptop software has also disappeared. I’ve tried resetting the factory settings from the printers controls but to no effect. I’ve never changed any of the software as I’m no software geek and the explanations shown on the net give me nightmares. Is there a simple way to reboot the software or update the existing software without going into the riggers of loadijn Sailfish etc.?

Not familiar with the software but if you can then make sure the correct model printer is selected. i.e replicator dual or something similar.
