Greetings everyone!

I recently bought a CTC printer as a replacement for my old Solidoodle (may it rest in peace). The CTC printed OK for a while, but I started to get frequent jamming on both nozzles (couldnt make it through a 2 hour print). I ordered some parts to replace the hot end, but they do not fit. My nozzle has an M6 thread, and the PTFE liner (OD 3mm, ID 2mm) goes all the way into the nozzle. The liner goes all the way up to the top of the throat piece, which has an OD of 6mm and M6 thread on about 1/4 its length, but the rest is smooth. The throat piece is held in by a small set screw. Does anyone know where i could get replacement parts for this, or is modification needed? I’m not afraid to modify it, but don’t want to if I do not need to. Thank you!

I have 2 of theese printers and I get all my stuff from uncle chucks 3d printer parts. Great website great guy. Responds in around 24hrs to any questions and you can actually call and talk to a real person lol check them out

Thanks! I sent him an email, I’ll post back when I have it back up and running.

John_LaBaff, which extruder nozzles do you use? Did you switch them from the originals?
