Hey guys and gals, just got myself a CTC 3D Printer (the black one) first of all I have to say i’m pretty impressed with printing from an SD card but when it comes to USB no dice, none of 4 machines recognise this and device manager only shows “Unknown USB Device Descriptor Request Failed” I have followed the chinese instructions on the SD card as best as I can and I can’t get anything to see it, am I doing something wrong or is this likely to be a hardware fault?
A driver will have to be installed. Odds are they have the wrong one. As far as USB. Use USB2 ports. Direct cable with no extension, hubs etc. Cable no more the 15 feet for USB2.
What software/slicer? What Operating system on the computer?

Thanks for the response, I’m running Windows 7 on the device it’s connected to with a 2 metre USB a-b, i’ve tried several cables in various ports, I’ve also tried several desktops/laptops, I’ve tried Makerbot Desktop, Makerware and ReplicatorG so far
