So, I just got my P802M to function with my pc, I had to do a lot of digging around but now it works, hallelujah, but now my issue is, is that my Z axis only moves down, when I try to manually move it up through Repetier-Host, or from the LCD screen.

OK so some questions here,

Did you Build your Printer by yourself? because if so it could easily be that you put your Stepper Motor Plug the Worng way around in your Printerboard. Before you use to much time figuring out the right direction just flip the Plug and try again. If that didn´t help, it would be great to get some Pictures so we can get this working together.

Best Regards.

Yes I did do the wiring on it, and I followed the instructions that came. from the looks of the board, I only have 1 way of putting the “plug” into the board, since it has notches, I’ll post some pics later, since I’m just about to sleep, one thing I did notice, is that one of the blue wires, my stepping motors have a set of 4 wires, green, red, yellow, and blue, and one of the blue wires looks as if it had been cut, at the factory, since it’s a very clean cut. should I wire both ends of the blue wire together? so it’s like the rest.

plus should my z axis stepping motors be making a chunking sound when going down?

Thank you so much for replying, this issue has been bothering me

Yeah if the two blue wires are not connectet Solder them together and look if its working… if one Wire of a stepper is not connected it does not mean it wont work at all… The shaft can still rotate by the force of the other 3 coils. so this could very well be the problem here. But pictures will help make it more clear.

Till later and best regards.

Okay, I’ll get that picture over in a few mins here.

Could you get me a better picture of the cut?

sure, here you go, I tired them off in a loose reef knot

Yeah i would just go ahead and Solder them together. Make sure u mask the solderjob so there is no possibillity to short out. And then try out if it works.

Let me Know if so!

Best Regards and hopefully happy printing,

Now I need to work on the calibration, and figure out how to get the pla to go through, for some weird reason it doesn’t pull it through, even when the tip is at 200℃
