creator pro not reading sd card g codes

so I’m having an issue the past few nights, my creator pro has been working great up until it stopped reading the files on the sd card…

after I covert files to g codes and load them onto my sd card( it shows the file on the sd card on my computer)I plug it into my creator pro it wont read the new files, and I have tried multiple sd cards and I have tried replicatorg, and slicer…

if anyone can help I would appreciate it…

Reformat the card or replace it. Pretty common.

Creator Pro will not read a .gcode file, nor will it display it on the Creator Pro screen. You must convert gcode to .x3g for a creator pro to read it.

Some slicers will automatically generated x3g. Others need the x3g.exe, which converts gcode to x3g.

Also, make sure you do not have long file names - I noticed on mine if I exceed [15 or 18, don’t remember right now] it will not display.

Thanks for the info…it turned out to be the card reader…all is good now
