I purchased one CR-10 from Banggood.com and the power supply blew up at first power up. I had read about the loud power supply fans and other fans in the CR-10. I had purchased a Mean Well power supply from Amazon in advance. I was able to swap it out and fire up the machine. I figured that there was just a component failure. A week into using the CR-10, I was so impressed with the parts I was getting that I purchased four more printers.

I received them one at a time. The second printer I received had screws rattling around inside the power supply. I dumped them out but I wasn’t sure where they came from. It powered up fine and works to this day. The third printer, same thing. Screws rolling around in the control box and power supply. Worked fine after I removed the extra screws.

The fourth and fifth printers… DOA sort of…

Machine number four powered up and while I’m levelling the bed, I notice that the bed it getting warm. It continued to heat all the way up to 90-degrees Celsius.

Machine number five powered up but the heating bed didn’t work at all.
