Copper Cold Cast

Hey all,

Just wanted to share my last 3D Print/Cast. In this case I 3D Printed the Cthulhu Statue in PLA in it’s proper size to then make a Silicone mold. Copper (in powder form) and Resin were mixed to pour the final statue. I used some Steel wool to give it some shine. It also had a Vinegar bath over night to quick start the oxidation process. Turned out rather nice!

I love it! Exactly like the description in the novel :D. Is the file open? I may try 3D print casting soon!

Thanks! Unfortunately I can’t share this file. You should really try it for yourself on a small object. There are a few videos on youtube on cold casting as well to get you started (unless you know how to go about it then just ignore me)
