Ok fitted a front and rear cooling fan but I need some help turning the fan’s on and off.
Moffat fitted, 12v fans in serial, Sailfish installed and using Simplify3D
I can turn the fans on/off via the front key pad.
Can get them to start straight away and turn off at any given layer with Simplify3D but I cannot get them to start after the 1st layer.
- Settings are
Layer Fan Speed
1 0
2 100
Blip fan to full power ticked
Adjust temp for layers bellow 15.0 sec and ticked
Increase fan speed for layers below Un ticked
Bridging fan speed override 100% Ticked
Don’t know if I need to add anything to the script!
Can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me how it’s done?

Hey @Suggy, sorry about the inconvenience, we’ll definitely look into this. In the mean time, I’ve added the settings to your post above so the community gets to read it all in one go. Thanks for understanding and Happy New Year!

Make sure that simplify 3D the code is correct for the makerbot style printers, and if you go to machine control panel and turn the fan on via there and it does not work the correct code is not entered for fan
