I am new to 3D printing and currently working on printing a sheep brain model.

The only issue is that files were from MRI scans and are in an .nii format, my goal is to convert these files to .stl for print.

However, I’m not exactly sure where to start or what free programs I can use for this purpose.

Any help would be much appreciated!

You can use the 3d slicer and try on that. However, if you have dicom files from the MRI I can help you and send the stl files.
