I am new in printing with my new ANET A8. I have created some parts using CAD and the Cure software and was able to print them, by passing the file to the SD card achieving good quality. But when a .OBJ large file is converted to a gcode file, the ANET ignores the file and simply does ot perform.
I assume that the large file could be printed by printing directly from the PC, ather tan letting the anet deal with the large file. But when I connect the PC, working on XP, and the annet, the PC recognices a new device, but does not what I am trying to connet.
DO you know the solution for that?
How large is the File? I had Files up to 120MB printed from the SD-Card without any issues.
First thing you would need is the appropriate drivers for the printer. Only use good quality, short USB cables. Not extensions, hubs etc.
In reality though the SD card is going to be the best way to go.
