Okay, I’m really not technical but I’ll try my best to explain the situation:
I have a Colido DIY printer (it’s the same as print rite, it’s boards inside even say ‘print rite’). The printer was working okay, but now it can’t seem to finish a print: halfway through, and never at the same point, it stops printing, resets and tries to start again, leading to a collision between the extruder and the previous print. The only way to stop this sometimes is to pull the power cord out.
This happens if I print from Repetier, but also if I print from SD card. However, with no LCD screen, I have to start SD prints from the PC (Windows 10). The print will continue from SD if I disconnect the PC, but it eventually does the same thing as the print from Repetier: stops randomly and tries to start again.
I currently cannot complete a single print with one exception: I was messing about in Repetier while the SD card was in and the printer started to print, and finished but the catch is, I didn’t start it from Repetier. I can only assume it auto ran from the SD card, but I can’t get it to do that again.
If anyone has any ideas about this, I’d really appreciate it. I mean any ideas at all, because I’ve searched the Internet and tried playing with settings and it still won’t work. It’s driving me to tears now!
Thanks.
