What is the best way to clean off the gluestick that qidi shipped with the printer? I think i will try using the blue printer tape. Thanks,
I am assuming you mean the blue sticker not glue stick. I have found the best way is to heat the bed to 90C, and using a thick pair of nitrile gloves it will peel off easily as long as you go slow. Use a flat razor blade to pry up one corner then just pull up slowly. If there is any residue left just clean using rubbing alcohol and paper towel. Biggest risk is just not to burn yourself.
Yes, your post isn’t clear. Do as madmaxed suggested, or if you are talking about the leftover residue, then with the printer cool and off, wipe the build plate with a paper towel and acetone.
I usually just use a rag with water to wipe off the glue when the bed is cold. Then, I use isopropyl alcohol swabs to cleanse the surface. Has been working great for me!
