I’m using a Makerbot Replicator 2x and always have trouble with prints lifting off the build plate during the build, sometimes completely letting go, more often then not, just warping. I use Kapton tape on the platform and temps of 110 to 115 (printing ABS). I have tried extra-large rafts and helper disks to little avail. I have not tried hairspray or glue sticks yet.
I have read that reducing the build plate temperature after some passes can reduce this problem, but I cannot figure out how to do that. Any tips?
