I am trying to figure out on my QIDI TECH dual extruder 3D printer how to switch from the right to left extruder in printing.

What software/slicer are you using? This is where you will set up these things.

What you have to do is select the object that you want to switch print extruders for, click the ‘i’ icon on the left, and select one of the two extruders. Also, if you want to have your supports and rafts be from a different head, then you have to go into advanced settings, multi-material printing, and change the materials to either 1 (left) or 0 (right). Then you will have to scroll down and uncheck purge walls if you are only using one filament/extruder.
