Amortech is at it again - this time with another amazing proto-pasta filament.

Check out the great results we got here using our highly tuned Flashforge Creator Pro. This exotic material from Protopasta is great! It’s lighter and much more rigid than PLA. We found it overly brittle and did suffer a couple filament snaps mid-job so make sure you have a nice clean feed and be careful with your prints - while they are much more rigid they dont have much flex at all. Perfectly fine when used properly for things like drone props or RC parts but just a heads up so you don’t accidentally snap a nice print.

The suggested settings for this worked pretty much flawless.

We went a bit hotter at 220 using a .4mm nozzle and print speed of 40mm/sec.

Hope you like him and as always big ups to Flashforge, Simplify3D, Protopasta and of course 3D Hubs.

Hot damn! What an amazing print!

What layer height? That looks to be at least 100 micron. Very nice results on the 90° overhang under the “ears”. That is always a tricky area.
