Does anyone here in the Grand rapids area have any experience with the Colorfabb XT-CF20. I would like to see some models that have been made with this material and possibly have some made with it if it could fit my needs.
Thanks so much!

Not in Grand Rapids, but I have used the Colorfabb and Proto-pasta filaments. Carbon fiber filaments are extremely brittle in my experience. I had multiple breaks due to light friction from the spool to the extruder. The printed parts are a tiny bit lighter, but much more fragile than typical ABS or PLA parts.
Thank you for the info. Sounds like I don’t want the carbon fiber for my application then. I want something more pliable. I think I will check out the local 3d printer store in my area. My printer is down at the moment. Thanks again!
