Is it possible to 3D print such a large piece? Or otherwise 3D print it in parts?

Ti would be easier if you have specified the size of the detail.

In any case, some industrial 3d printers can print really big parts. As for us, we can print carbon-reinforced parts only within these dimensions 320x132x154 mm, and assemble them.

hi novagm! thanks for you reply! the size is about 2 x 0.6 x 0.7 meters (lxwxh). how much will it cost approximately? when you would print it in parts? or when an industrial printer does it? kind regards

This is a pretty big part. We can make the calculation if you have finished 3D model, which split into printable parts, but I think that it will take some time and will be expensive.

I recommend that you find a company that has an industrial 3D printer, Stratasys printers for example, and then simply cover the printed part with carbon fiber.

As I said, we can print only the items no larger than 320x132x154 mm. Moreover, I’m afraid that part that has been made from multiple smaller parts (even from carbon fiber) will not be as strong as part made in one piece (or 2).
