Hi,

this is for the Pro and business hubs out there.

Which software do you use, to keep track of your orders and generate invoices, proposals etc…

Currently i am using dolibarr erp, it works well for the moment, but especially the allocation of the order fee from 3d Hubs is a real pain, as i do it monthly because you need concentration to get the wright invoice to the wright order, and the invoice is only available after the order is payed out, which can be up to 14 day after the order was shipped.

Also i search a software that is capable of keeping track on the finacial side, like an api to paypal and finTIS

@3d hubs support: is it possible to get an pdf were all orders of the month are listing with fees etc?

Cheers Jan

You might want to check DigiFabster: https://digifabster.com/. It is perfect for 3D Printing Hubs. It is free for upto 30 quotes per month.

Thanks for the link, but i don´t see the value in the solution. For me it looks like a paralell solution to 3d hubs.

I search a software / solution which helps me handle my orders here on 3d hubs and a few which are coming from external customers who don´t want to use 3d hubs.

On “My orders” page, you can downlaod invoices as zip files or exports as CSV file.

If you find a good CRM soluton which fit your needs better, please let me know.

If your erp supports importing files you could build a quick converter to take the downloaded CSV file from 3d hubs and parse it monthly for the fees?

Update 19.05.2016_23:37Uhr: Dolibarr does not support the import of invoice / invoicepositions.

Hmm, yes this could work. Thanks for this solution.

But i would need the invoice number within the .csv file so can match the order to the invoice .pdf.

@3dhubs: is this possible ?

Cheers Jan

3dhubs is great, but you aren’t in control of when you get paid. 3dhubs is. same with other competitors.

Digifabster.com is a good solution, though on the pricey side.

WP3DPrinting.com - decent solution, lots of good aesthetic features; but its lacking a good powerful e-commerce solution.

phanes.co - another good solution, aesthetic side we are still improving, great e-commerce solution, and we just integrated their platform with astroprint.

i am a bit biased, as phanes is mine; but I am not afraid to call out the faults in my own platform. So, sorry in advance for the spamming. Digifabster opened that door already in a previous post.

3dhubs is moving away from the mom n pop 3d printer farms and focusing on more high scale printing, similar to shapeways. Eventually, small 3d printing farms are going to need their own solution to provide instant quotes and checkout options without spending thousands to a developer. Also, smaller farms don’t have the budget to do big marketing to compete against the big boys like 3dhubs. Also, smaller 3d printer farms need something a bit more automated and a seamless e-commerce process. Eventually, you’re gonna need one of three platforms that I mentioned above. The key is for you to decide, which is the best for you. Down the line, what small 3d printer farms need are a powerful e-commerce solution that will make their lives easier.
