I am working on a very detailed building and I am having issues with some of the windows. I’m not sure if the windows just need to be larger or if I need to put some wedges under them. Any input would be appreciated.

I’ve attached a photo to show what I am talking about. on the sides there are slight blobby outlines on the windows.

Looking at your photo there are a multitude of other problems than just the blobby outlines on the windows. I would say they are probably too small to be printed accurately, but I also think your filament temperature might be a bit too high as well, which is causing some of the blobbing and stringing in your filament. I think you should do some work to tune your settings, and you should also probably reduce your layer height to about 0.1mm for some better results.

Good Luck!

You should spend some time leveling your bed (front left - back right - back left - front right) your back right needs some help, try 195(ish) on the temperature, set print speed to 35 or 30 or even 25. Look into cooling fan speeds and how that affects the quality. Check to see if the belts are tight enough, and make a medium pitch tone when you pluck them. And also you probably do not need to print 15 mm of skirt (if that is a skirt), 3 lines should be enough. What slicer did you use?

Thanks, I will try that. I am in the process of making the windows larger. I have been experimenting with the temperatures and will try a lower setting. I am running my layer height at 0.2. I will try 0.1 and see how it works.

I have since leveled my bed. I am using Cura at the moment. That is a skirt. I never adjusted the skirt setting and just left it stock.
