Hi, recently we (teacher) bought a new 3D printer - Flashforge Creator Pro. The printer has been set up, and when we have tried leveling the build plate it has scratched due to it hitting. I am at a loss how to fix it, as the plate can go no lower.
If your bed cannot go any lower and the nozzle still hits, then remove your fans, heat exchangers and adjust the nozzle height. It might have been set up too low from factory causing this issue. Adjust the nozzle up and adjust the bed again. For better filament loading, get the nozzle tube as close to the filament exit in the extruder. Hope my explanation is understood.

There is also a few shims you can print off thingiverse usually for glass beds that will raise the z endstops a bit. Make sure to check the nozzle as suggested below first.
