This month’s Boston Hubs community meetup held at the Liquid Art House focused on fashion and in that vein the event itself was held fashionably late… by a week. But, weather and subsequent cleanup aside, many came out to get a glimpse at what additive manufacturing will bring when it comes to high fashion.

I’ll be collecting more images from the various shutterbugs who attended and posting them here. Feel free to add to the pile in the comments if you were lucky enough to attend.

To sum up any of these Boston events, it’s a micro convention of sorts, with an eclectic mix of software and hardware folks sharing their passion for this tech while sharing a drink or two. It can not be stressed enough how concentrated Boston is when it comes to the people driving innovation in this young industry.

Where else but a Boston meetup could you rub elbows with great individuals from the likes of MarkForged, Voxel8 & 3Doodler while surrounded by great food and great art?

Thanks for sharing photos and updates from the event @AtomJaay! What were the 3D printed wearable products that stood out & particularly impressed you?

Bathsheba Sculpture was the table to linger at and take in the stunning shapes and metal printed awesomeness.
