Now that you are ready to rumble…here is my latest fully 3D printed monster truck!

The suspension works and the wheel also work and it took over 100 hours of 3D printing on my Makerbot replicator 2X but 40 of those hours were for the orange wheel covers which are made out of Ninjaflex. It is over a foot long and used over 2.1kg of filament to make! Here is a video of it in action and also showing the assembly and parts;

There is a total of 30 parts that make up the truck, it is all made to be assembled with clips that are included in the printing files but I glued the body together aswell for strength (with acetone/ABS slurry) and also put the whole truck in an acetone vapour bath to get it smooth and shiny. The windows clip directly onto the body and the body was printed in 3 parts and then assembled. The suspension/wheel assembly also clips together and then clips into the body.

Print settings

-All printed in ABS with 10% infill and 2 layers

-The springs and suspension linkage was printed at 20% infill for strength

-Orange wheel covers are optional and printed with Ninjaflex also 2 layers 10% infill

I hope you guys like it and please leave any feedback down below. A few people have suggested turning into an RC setup but I don’t have much experience with electronics, if you want to go for it and let us know how you get on!

Oh and the top designer on my website had been paid $153 and $221 for about 15 downloads in each of the last 2 months so if you want to share your designs and earn some money have a look!
