Please be aware that ebay sellers are relabeling there ABS as PLA. I just got burned and I was able to coax it from the operator that they are getting a lot of calls for this. From now on I will only buy from top shelf, name brand sellers. I suggest you do the same. Please pass this along to any printers you know.
Check with the actual manufacturer to see who is authorized to sell. Hatchbox is one that there are a lot of counterfeit sellers on ebay and Amazon.
NEVER buy filament from customers on ebay. PLEASE use a trusted source. I just spent some time today with a customer who had a part printed at a different hub, and the PLA part they got slowly crumbled to dust over a very short period of time. China, which I only mention because so much filament comes from there, is the plastic recycling capital of the world. Not to pick on China, because just about any country can do this, but some vendors can just throw anything in there!
