Hey guys do you have any suggestions for a good CNC desktop machine? I was looking for between $300-$500? Let me know. Thanks.

It depends on what you want to cut.

I have a desk top CNC from E bay that I use for plastic and it works great.

It was about $400 then I got a cheap computer for the sole purpose of running the CNC machine.

I also have Mach3 to run the CNC and it works great. I thing the license was $100. Then I use Fusion 360 to program the machine.

With the machine I have invested some money into bits and collets.

Its a great little set up. Plastic is relativity cheap and puts less ware on the machine.

Its going to be hard to find a $500 machine that will cut metal.

Do you have a link for the CNC you bought?

Do you buy blocks of plastic to cut?
