Looking to set this up. I have it built and limiters set.

Im wondering what software I should be using for it.

Do you look for a slicer, meaning a program, that prepares 3d models and turns them into command lines for movement and extrusion. Or are you looking for a program to install on the printers Mainboard, that turns the command lines into actual movements. Given the first one I’d say Simplify3D or (for free) cura or Slic3r. For the second task nearly every printer (except makerbot) uses Marlin. Cheers, Marius

I’m guessing you want a slicer. So I would download Cura as its good and easy to setup using the prusa. But make sure to download Cura 14 not 15 as 15 doesn’t support the prusa.

This document should give you lots more info and is precific to the wanhao i3. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0221/1404/files/CURA_WANHAO_EDITION_USER_MANUEL_rev.a.pdf?3925959511254232074

eh im using cura but it decides to start print before it reaches the centre of the bed then lowers to start printing. Then the Abs doesn’t stick urgh been a real pain to try and get this working
