It was a noisy morning today in the 3D Hubs printing jungle here in Amsterdam! A new machine has arrived and we can’t wait to try it out. It’s the DeeGreen printer from be3D.

Obviously, the first thing that has to be printed is our Marvin! (it should be a sample print everywhere ^^). We haven’t fired it up yet , but we soon will! The usage seems pretty straightforward so far. We’ve inserted the filament and tried out a few layers of the test prints. Everything seems to be working great. And one thing that was REALLY exciting is this:

Did you see that? ! The thing calibrates itself before each print!!! Finally!

Regardless, Do you have any tips for us to watch out for or how does it print the smaller objects (like Marvin)? And most importantly - What have you printed with it?
