I’m modding a design I found and looking to add internal space for some electrical components (Switch, wire, battery holder, LEDs). I was hoping that there would be a pre-made battery compartment file that I could just add to my existing design. I’ve found a lot of battery case covers for specific items but nothing that would be just a generic panel I could add to my design.

If it’s relevant I’m making a prop ray gun for ComiCon.

Any help y’all could offer on this front would be greatly appreciated.

How many of what type of batteries?

Just one button cell. I came up with a solution based on a pill holder with a sliding lid. I cut off the bottom of the pill holder leaving me with a mouth and a lid. I carved a rectangular compartment there to fit the components. Not sure if it’ll work. But time will tell. I should test those components alone before printing the rest of the design.
