Hi everybody, Anyone an idea how it comes to those strange lines? Thanx for your helps! Wanhao i3plus … Standard filament pla From 3djake Speed 60 quality 0.2mm Temp 220

First things you could try.
Lower your speed
Lower your print temperature
Adjust your accelaration and jerk settings
Too fast and too hot.
Go with about 30-40mm/sec and 195-200 on temp. A .2 layer is good to use.
What slicer? You may need to calibrate for flow. Might be a little over extrusion but fix one thing at a time and start with speed and temp.
Have you used those settings before and it printed smoothly? Could be your z axis is wobbly or binding. It has happened to me because my plate did not move up and down smoothly.
Hi Stefan! Some Ideas:
1. Tighten your belts. It seems that your machine has a lot of play.
2. 220°C Is a quite high temperature for PLA. Try it with about 210°C.
3. Print slowly. I think a good quality print is not printed faster than 50 mm/s (If you don’t have a stratasys ;-)), otherwise you will have ripples at the edges.
I hope that helps for the beginning.
Hi there,
Maddie here from 3D Hubs.
It looks like you might be having some overextrusion issues, I’d recommend checking out the calibration guide we have here, specifically the extrusion multiplier section: Talk Manufacturing | Hubs
It’s possible you’re experiencing some z wobble on top of that, but it will be easier to tell once your extrusion multiplier is worked out.
I hope this helps!
Best,
Maddie
