We have taught what we would call 101- level 3D printing classes and the past and have an intro to 123D Design and a bit of 123D catch, but would anyone be interested din teaching a 3D printing class at FabLab Tacoma. Perhaps a beginning - intermediate class? On a as-needed basis?

I would love to. Do you have a specific curriculum in mind?

This is a really great idea! What exactly did you have in mind? Is it for kids or anyone can attend?

Hi guys, I would definitely entertain the idea of teaching an intro (or advanced) 3d printing course. What general hours would the classes fall into, how long is each class, what age group is anticipated, and of course, what’s the compensation? Thanks for taking the time to reach out, you can contact me via email [ Ubermeisters@gmail.com ] or Reddit [ http://www.reddit.com/user/Ubermeisters ].

Are you looking for particulars in slicing settings and clearing nozzles, etc etc, or more 3D modeling that you are looking for? The Foundry is hosting a free 2 day class introduction to Rhino This Friday and Sat. 5 - 8 on Fri and 8 - 1 on Sat. Dave Weidkamp is the instructor and he is terrific. I have been learning Autodesk’s Fusion 360 and am really liking it. They offer free live webinars that might be helpful. I would love to come down and collaborate with you guys if there is a way that I can bring value. I’m happy to go over many different slicers and settings as well as machine maintenance, trouble shooting, and making good materials choices, if that is helpful. It would be really cool if we could help each other out! 253-709-7453 ~. Mary

Hey everybody, I am also interested in this opportunity. I have a background in art and digital design such as 3D modeling. I also have done some 3D scanning with the Xbox 360 Kinect to create 3D selfie’s. Familiar with various 3D design software (such as Autodesk Meshmixer, Meshlab, Blender, Google Sketchup) that all would have there different strengths for modeling or 3D printing. I would love to help spread my knowledge. Please contact me at 952-452-4274.
