First print after assemble went impressively well. Then I started a second one, ETA was about 9 hours. On 8 hour it just stopped with an “ERR:MINTEMP” error. Only reset solved it. Now I can’t finish any big print cause nozzle just stops extrusion sometimes. Temperature jumps from 150 to 210 in seconds. But after full cooldown, I can print for some hours without any errors or temperature issues, but every time I finish up with this. Any ideas?

Check the Velleman forum and search for “ERR:MINTEMP”, that should give you a few pointers.

I haven’t had this issue on my vertex but I wouldfirst check you have the latest and/or correct firmware installed if thats ok then perhaps their is a loose connection on the control board or print head also check the thermistor is in the correct location and the heater cartridge is secue

hope that helps

Check good connection of the hotend temp. Sensor. If this is not having a good and stable connection Mintemp error will occur. Printing from SD card gives less problems.

I had similar issues (with the K8200) which was due to a bad connection at the hot end. Check all connections and try to force the ERR:MINTEMP by moving the wiring gently around so you know where the bad connection is located

Succes

This means there is a loose thermal contact in your hotend thermistor or a loose electrical contact. best you replace your

thermistor. There are cheap on ebay.
