Hi All,

Im new to 3D printing, and ive got myself a Kossel Delta Plus, and im having issues.

Ive gone through the autoleveling process with the levelling head installed, which worked fine, just when i go to print, the hot end keeps going, and doesnt seem to be able to find the 0 point?

Its left a gouge in the metal hotbed where its pressed the tip against it so hard.

How can i tell the printer where 0 should be??

I followed the guide anycubic has on their YT channel, and its still happening! :frowning:

Any ideas?

Note that on a cartesian printer, the “0” is on the surface of the print bed on a corner.

On a delta printer, the “0” is in the up most position where there are the end stoppers and on the bed surface the Z is 250mm, or whatever is your printer height and after your calibration. Depending on your slicer software there are options to choose between the cartesian or delta and set the height of the print volume.

What you could do is to try a test, to print a part that is half way between the bed and “0” position (without any support). Of course you would not actually print anything in mid air, but it should show you the movement of your printer.

Do you use Cura? If yes, in the printer configuration, is 0 as middle checked? If not, do so!
