Hello, as far as I know, since 3D printers are relatively new, there are not that many studies on the long term effect on health. From what I heard, it is not good for health when printing ABS because of the toxic particles. As some of you know, I am considering to buy a large volume 3D printer. The UpBox+ from China states that they have filter built-in to filter out toxic particles. They mentioned a study but I think it is related to that company. Perhaps biased?

I am living in a condo. In Winter, we keep the windows closed due to the extreme cold but even in the summer, we cannot open those big windows. Instead, we can only slide a very small window slightly. I am concerned about placing a large printer in my small bedroom as I will breath in those particles. I have two bathrooms. One possibility is that whenever I need to do the printing, move the printer to a bathroom (I make sure it is dry to avoid the moisture killing the electronics.) and have the ventilation on. Will this work? Not sure if ventilation is strong enough to suck up those toxic particles. What other issues could come up if I do that?
