I’m planning to build a Kossel Mini, and in Brazil, the motors choices are somewhat limited (I could buy from China, but duties in Brazil are on the higher end, and the timetable is simply abismal, you buy something from Aliexpress to get it delivered 90 days later).
So I came across a motor with specs I’m almost comfortable with:
Step Angle 1.8º
Phase Nº 2
Insulation Resistance 100mOhm(500V DC)
Insulation Class B
Current 1.2A
Resistance 5.5 ± 10% Ohms
Inductance 11 ±20%mH
Holding torque: 5.2 kgf/cm
The inductance and current seems low enough for the torque, but I’m worried about the resistance, which seems too high. Is it usable?
