Hello! I just finished assembling my Anet A8 and ran into a few errors. It printed half of the base for the cube that comes with the SD card before it…crashed? My screen turns solid blue and becomes unresponsive and the Mobo and power supply make a sort of clicking noise almost like a fan with a broken fin. I powered it off and on a few times and wiggled the arms and it restarted again. I printed a calibration cube (a 1cm x 1cm x 1cm cube with 20%infill) with the white filament they provided. Convinced that the problem was fixed I decided to print a new fan nozzle (Hesine M-505, Anet A8 - Center Nozzle Fan by Arjjck - Thingiverse) and after finishing the raft it froze up again, I cant get it to power back on… the PSU and the Mobo are clicking and the screen is blue but sometimes doesn’t turn on until I wiggle the motors, which are unlocked, and the extruder seems to be cooled.
This is my first personal 3d printer but I am familiar with a school’s Makerbot Replicator 2.

sounds like something has shorted or burned out or bad powersupply.

take out the powersupply, litterally unplug it from the wall and leave it for ten mins to cold reset , if it doesnt come back on then yu have a knackered psu or its shorting soewhere maybe due to faulty wiring.

Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. I figured the same but I don’t know how to go about contacting them to get a new one because i don’t get coverage in china. And I think you’re right because upon close inspection, that clicking sound sounds more like gaping electricity.
