So I’m looking to buy my first 3D printer. I am set on building from a DIY kit and after extensive research I have narrowed my options down to the A8 and the Tevo Tarantula. I have heard the the Tarantula is the better built of the two, but I am currently leaning towards the A8 because it has a bigger printing size and is a bit cheaper. Is the printing size difference worth getting the A8 over the Tarantula? How much do you think it will limit me?
Thanks!

I have an A8, but I check out the Tarantula and it looks nicer. First of all, I would upgrade my A8 to an aluminum frame if I could. I have already spent more than $40 to upgrade to a E3D nozzle and a MKS1.4 board. In other words, it is worthy to get a Tarantula instead of A8. It looks like the motherboard(MKS GEN-L v1.0?) does support second extruder for future expansion.
Something I like the most of A8 is the fact I learned so much about the 3D printer because all the upgrade I did. If you want to learn more about the 3d printer, firmware and don’t mind the bumpy road ahead of you, then the A8 is a great learning 3d printer.
