Hi new to 3D printing and having bought the A8 my first print was fine. But the printer has developed a severe vibration on the x axis it sounds very mechanical like gears grinding - any advice please.

Hi , does your smooth rods that run in the x axis run parallel to ech other . I got my a8 about a month ago and i had to get a hacksaw out . the holes in the right side to where your rods go was about 5mil closer together than the left side . A temp fix until i printed out a new one .

Hi Andrew thanks for your reply. It turned out one of the wires going into the X stepper motor was loose hence intermittent connection causing the vibration. Cheers happy printing I’m loving it.
