The problem I have is the temperature on my screen kept going up (over 300 degrees) but the hot end stayed cold. I have replaced the hot end and when I powered the printer up again the display was still over 300 degrees, I pressed the reset button and it reset. Now I am unable to do any printing because the hot end no longer has a temperature but says ‘def’, also the print bed says the same. Please see attached picture. Can anyone HELP???
The temperature sensor of your hotend is either defect or the connection is bad. Please check the connector, wires, etc, perhaps re-crimp the connector. Also check that only the pins on the outside of the connector are used, the pin in the middle must not be used.
if you are sure the sensor is working and the connection is fine and correct, it sees your motherboard has a problem…
