after I installed everything … I turned power on the Anet A8 … went to the return home function and x goes in the opposite direction. What is wrong?

Can you post a picture of the back side of your x-carriage?

Hi . If it’s the same thing that I did ? Then you may have put your x belt on upside down . Like I said it’s what I’d done and it went the wrong way . Hope this helps , Andy

Thanks to all for this fast help. Here are some picture?

From picture 2 i can see that your x belt is “upside down”. It’ s supposed to be fastened to the screws, then goes under the motor pulley, around, back above the pulley, over both screws, over the second pulley, back under the second pulley and finally to the second screw. Edit: the best way to describe it is probably that the lower part of the belt is fixed to the x carriage, while the upper part is not.

Here you will see the correct way. 5. 3D Printer Instruction--Anet A 8 X axis Motor, Nozzle, Belt and Fans Assembly - YouTube Artur

Thanks Artur but I guess the assembelt belt is in my case right. Even in the film isn’t it shown better.

The construction its self is now more simple but seems to work. So I will try the upside down methode and install the X-motor on the other side.

It is a chinas quality concern what isnt right. For example my motherbord has a changed power connection. On the drawing is it

but is just the opposite now in reality

for me isn’t this a problem but for some others can this be fatal.

Regards Udo

Udo your Belt is wrong. The moving part of the Belt has to toch the TWO upper sliders. Artur

Udo, you used the wrong holes for the belt fixing screw. Artur

Hi Artur
