Hi,
I have my brand new hub setup, and I was wondering, is there any way to track the hub’s visits with google analytics?
And more generally, is there someway to include some custom html?
Thanks!

Hey Payala great idea. We’re actually working on showing our Hubs how many visits they get in a simple analytics dashboard. We don’t allow custom HTML on the page yet. It would be usefull to hear what it is you want to create using custom HTML as we might be able to create it for you and other Hubs.

Hi Brian,
I’m not thinking on anything specific, but on having the capability to expand the hub with any new services in a flexible way, whithout requiring you to change the whole system. Just like any e-commerce owner can do on his store.
Of course, having GA would be a huge help. Not only to see the number of visits, but also to be able to track conversions, track campaign effectivity, etc. Just basic ecommerce stuff.
For example, a lot of people would possibly be overwhelmed by google analytics. So, for them, showing the number of visits in a dashboard is simpler and better. But other people might take it more seriously and would like to use the full power of google analytics or other website tracking tools. Having a simple mechanism plus a way to expand your hub would fulfill the needs of both types of users IMHO.

Hi Payela,
Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion! It definetly an interesting thing to explore. What kind of campaigns would you like track?
However, I can’t make any promises when we’ll come around to working offering advanced tracking. For the coming time there are many essential features (like allowing 3D modelling, scanning etc) that are on top of our roadmap at the moment.
Best, Rob
