Hey All,

Does anyone have experience airbrushing or painting their 3d prints? I just saw this video and guide from Jackie Wan and was looking to learn more on how to get started.

The possibilities seem really cool.

Hi @Alex3DHubs, maybe @3Dmaker4U can help you with this, his hub does some really awesome figurines that you should definitely check out.

Also, for more references, this thread from several weeks back might help with your question: Talk Manufacturing | Hubs

I know that @Kurt_7 definately has experience with this. But maybe also @key23d, @James_2, or @Joe_Prod can help you out here. I personally have no experience with this just yet :frowning:

Yeap, Valcrow works in a true professional manner.

However, you can do wonderfull things starting really small: a few paintbrushes, some acrylic paint in tubes and maybe a spray with primer.

@Alex3DHubs @Filemon

Thanks for the mention Filemon. For painting on plastic - you may need primer in some cases. Although Krylon spray paints will work on plastic w/o primer - as I have done on my Dragon!
