I’m a student and I was looking for a place where I could get some materials I designed for a school project 3d printed. I found your place through 3D-hubs but I don’t understand how the system works. When I send you my files and you print them, there’s an option for shipping and also an option for picking up. However I could not find your location on maps and on 3d hub it showed a giant green radius so I figured that this kind of pickup is different. Could you tell me how this system works?
Pretty simple. If the hub is within an acceptable distance for you to pick up the print you probably can. Just ask them.
I believe you can browse http://3dinsider.com/ to find some good resources on how to start 3d printing by yourself rather then using some third-party services. I think it would be a good move.
So for pickup we’d communicate over a place in their area where I can go pick up the print?
Yes but you really need to be talking to the hubs you may use about it.
