Hi, my name is Elena and I am new here!

Does anybody tried some special PLA resistant to high temperatures and big impact strength?

I heard talking well about Ingeo 850 /870. Do you know something about it?

Thank you and best regards!

Hi Elena,

We are manufacturers of PLA filaments in Spain and we are using INGEO 3D850 and 870.

The resistance to temperature is similar to that of ABS and the spectacular impact resistance.

If you want we can send you some videos so that you can check it for yourself.

Elena,

I can’t recommend 3D-Fuel’s APLA+ highly enough. It has incredible impact strength. Even better than ABS and without needing to do any annealing.

If you anneal the print then you will see temperature resistance right in the ballpark of ABS.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Searcing information about this filaments, I found this video:

3D Wasteland presenta : test de resistencia del nuevo filamento PLA 3D870 de SAKATA 3D Filaments - YouTube .

It is very interesting! What do you think?

Check out N-Gen. However, there is a very common misconception with 3D Printing with PLA and ABS in solid injection molds ABS is stronger than PLA. However, when 3D printing because of the layers ABS does not bond to its self as well as PLA does making ABS weaker.

Hope this helps
