I have a replicator 2 printer with a mk8 extruder. I have always had problem with extruder skipping. More or less. Most of them went out while I have installed a PTFE heating tube which made a extruding almost without any skipping, but there are still some. I have bought a 7mm effective diameter driver gear, but this completely changed the filament feed angle and made current extruder impossible to use. But I had no luck finding a extruder with altered position to fit a 7mm driver gear. Does anybody was able to solve that ? What was a solution ? Drilling a larger holes in the support bar ? I’m quite lost how to do that right. Thanks.
