Hey guys!

I wanted to 3D print something food safe, but I don’t want to buy any more filament, so is it safe to coat an ABS or PLA object in food safe epoxy? If not, any other ideas?

if you are super nervous about things being foodsafe then i would go for the coating

personal i would not worry as much, most kitchen stuff are made with “questionable” plastics anyway

what i do is to trash the things where the surface starts to break up or bubble up
