my 3d printer extruded started to stay around 220 when I first plug it in about a month ago. Now my printer is not cooling down to room temperature I tried autotuning it but that didn’t work. If you could help me that would be great. I added a picture too.
Looking at the display, the temp shows 254, and the selected temp is 0. I would guess your thermistor is bad. What type printer?
I would look around for information on testing or replacing your thermistor. Have you checked to see if the extruder is hot or cold in this? I would guess cold. If for some reason it IS hot, your control board could be bad. Investigate carefully, don’t get burned. Also, you should be able to contact the manufacturer/seller for support if it’s not too old.
Hey,
i just replaced it and it is working perfectly, I didn’t want to replace it till I really have too… so thanks!
