I am in the market for a 3D printer for my company. Off the bat we have a budget of 10k (flexible). We will be printing prototypes of our parts, mostly fasteners like bolts and nuts. They need to be able to measure with a tolerance of 3 decimal places. I’ve been pointed to formlabs ( though we are not brand prejudice by any means). I’ve been doing research but am still unsure of what we need. What type of printer and some models to look into would this community suggest? These are prototypes and not for application use so the material doesn’t have to be extremely durable. A build envelope of 1cuft is ideal.
Good Morning! We use EnvisionTEC printers in our business and we also sell EnvisionTEC. I can talk to you about their machines if you’re interested. The tolerance is 50 microns. The desktop model is $10k Are you available to chat?
Yes I’m interested in the different models and their capabilities.
